2023 Kloof Street Old Vines Chenin Blanc, Mullineux

Excellent Chenin Blanc from one of South Africa’s most exciting producers.  Pale straw in colour, this wine has a nose of sun ripened pears and wet granite. The palate has a vibrant acidity balanced by a soft, round texture and some pithy character.

"The 2023 Chenin Blanc Kloofstreet comes from two adjacent parcels on the Paardeberg and fermented in stainless steel. It has a fresh, slightly marine influence, with touches of undergrowth. The palate is well balanced with a honeyed texture, a keen line of acidity and a hint of white chocolate on the finish.
