2022 Prunus Branco, Dao

Dão is one of Portugal’s best-known and most prestigious appellations and produces delicate and floral whites, with a satisfying underlying texture.  Prunus, is a delightful blend of local varieties; Encruzado, Cerceal Branco and Malvasia Fina.  Well-rounded and harmonious with concentrated fruit flavours of peaches yellow plums, apricots and floral notes while mineral on the palate with long mouth-watering finish. Serve chilled with seafood, fresh fish and creamy pasta.  Named after the family of stone fruit trees, it is a delightful modern example of Dão and offers outstanding value too.
