2022 Tin Soldier Semillon, Thorne & Daughters

"The 2022 Semillon Tin Soldier spends 7-10 days on the skins for around half the blend, less than the previous vintage, pushing for a little more ripeness, aged in used Burgundy barrels. This is very pure on the nose: yellow plum, wild peach and a touch of Anjou pear. Wonderful delineation. The palate is taut on the entry with notes of pear and nectarine, linear in style, with ample depth on the slightly oily-textured finish. Very good length.
