"I think a step up, yet still showing the forward, supple and soft underbelly that’s so common in the vintage, the 2012 Vacqueyras Le Clos is a 100% destemmed blend of equal parts Grenache and Syrah that spent two winters in cement tank prior to bottling. Big dark fruits, chocolate, ground herbs and earth all emerge from this medium to full-bodied, nicely structured and focused Vacqueyras.
