2018 Ronan by Clinet, Bordeaux

This is a delicious introduction to the wines of Chateau Clinet, one of the stars of Pomerol.  A charming Bordeaux rouge made from Merlot with enticing dark fruits, hints of vanilla and subtle spice notes.

"This shows ripe and plush dark fruit on the nose with hints of baking spices, chocolate and smoke. Soft and polished with medium body and firm tannins. A little hollow in the mid-palate, but delicious. Easy to drink now, yet better after 2023." James Suckling
