2011 Beaune 1er Cru Clos de la Feguine Rouge, Domaine Jacques Prieur

"As is pretty much always the case here, this is notably more elegant with higher-toned aromas of very fresh, cool and airy red pinot fruit and pungent mineral notes. There is lovely detail and excellent punch to the naturally sweet flavors, in fact this reminds me a bit of hard candy bon bons without being cloying as the finish is clean and dry in the best sense.
